Fire Hall #2 located at 796338 Grey Road 19 in Craigleith was originally built in 1989. The building is beginning to show its age, and the Town’s 2022 Fire Master Plan identified that the station was due for replacement.

The provincial funding program for the Grey Transit Route (GTR) will expire on Monday, March 31. GTR passengers are advised service will end on Monday, March 31 for the following routes: Route 1: Between Owen Sound and Dundalk (Highways 6&10) Route 3 and 4: Between Owen Sound and Town of the Blue Mountains (Highway 26)
A County owned site in Dundalk was identified for redevelopment as part of the Affordable Housing Action plan. The site is located at 130 Rowe’s Lane in Dundalk, the current 11-unit building is being demolished. This site has approximately one acre of developable land. Staff proposed a three story, 40 unit building consisting of 16 bachelor apartments and 24 one bedroom apartments be developed to meet the greatest need according to the Grey County wait list in Southgate.
