The Town of The Blue Mountains Fire Department would like to advise the public that a total fire ban has been implemented across the municipality as of Thursday, August 14, 2025. The ban will remain in effect until further notice. The ban includes all fires, fireworks, and open-air burning, including small personal fires for cooking or warmth previously allowed under the 'high risk' fire hazard rating. Residents may continue to use gas and propane barbecues. In an emergency, always dial 9-1-1.
