Exhibit Launch: The Marsh Street Artists

The Arts and Culture Council (ACC) for The Gallery at L.E. Shore is pleased to announce the launch of The Marsh Street Artists. Featuring the works of members of the Marsh Street Artists collective.

Join us January 7 from 2-4pm for The Marsh Street Artist’s open reception! Enjoy a glass of wine, view the beautiful artwork and meet the creators.

Close to the shores of Lake Huron on Georgian Bay, Marsh Street Artists have thrived since its inception.  In 2004, the group’s founding members Nancy Jackson and Mary Lou Morgan got together to follow their passion for painting. Soon other artists joined them, and today Marsh Street Artists have a friendly group of local and regional artists that work once a week at the Marsh Street Centre in Clarksburg, Ontario.

Their goal is to "Further the best interests of painting artists through the mutual and joint efforts of our members."  Today, Marsh Street Artists is well established, continuing to thrive in an environment of companionship and the mutual exchange of skills and knowledge while participating in workshops and art shows. For more information about the Marsh Street Artists, including membership, please visit marshstreetartists.ca.

This exhibit runs January 7 – February 1 and is available in-person at The Gallery in the L.E. Shore Branch and online via our Exhibits webpage. For information on purchasing art, contact L.E. Shore by calling 519-599-3681 ext. 142, or through emailing TheGallery@TheBlueMountains.ca.
