Town Solid Waste Disposal Site Reopening this Thursday

The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise residents that the Town Solid Waste Disposal Site will be reopening for public access this Thursday with enhanced safety measures in place.

All members of the public will be required to wear a mask while on site and capacity will be limited to help ensure the safety of both the public and Town staff. Capacity limits will result in longer wait times and The Town would like to thank all users in advance for your patience.

Hours of Operation

• Monday: Closed 
• Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Wednesday: Closed
• Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Friday: Closed
• Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. 
• Sunday: Closed

In addition, new operational restrictions and safety measures have been implemented to ensure the safe and effective operation of the Site. Please read the following items carefully:

• There will be a $12 minimum charge per load (as of February 2021)
• Cash payments will not be accepted (debit or credit only – tap preferred)
• Staff will be limiting the number of customers into the Site, and inbound curbside collection trucks will take priority. As a result, please be patient and expect delays.
