Town of The Blue Mountains Shares Next Steps and Meeting Dates for Corporate Strategic Plan
The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to provide an update on the Corporate Strategic Plan Project and advise the public of upcoming meetings related to finalizing the Plan. A Special Committee of the Whole meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., at Town Hall. During this meeting, StrategyCorp will present the final draft of the Corporate Strategic Plan, which incorporates feedback received from Council and the community through the validation phase and information sessions conducted in late 2025. The purpose of the meeting is for Council to review the final draft and provide any additional comments before the Plan is finalized for formal approval. If Council recommends proceeding with the adoption of the Corporate Strategic Plan at the January 27 meeting, a Special Council Meeting may be scheduled for Monday, February 9, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., at Town Hall, to consider approval and adoption of the Plan. All meetings will be open to the public and livestreamed on the Town’s website. Recordings will also be posted to the project webpage following each meeting for those unable to attend. About the Corporate Strategic PlanThe Corporate Strategic Plan Project was initiated in May 2025 to shape Our Path Forward for the Town and community. StrategyCorp was retained to lead the project and support the development of a long-term vision, mission and strategic priorities to guide the future direction of the Town.Since its launch, the project has involved significant engagement with Council, staff, residents and rights-holders. As the project reaches its final stages, this input has played a key role in shaping the final Plan and ensuring it responds to the community's needs and priorities.
