A historic win securing his place among the greats of Canadian motorcycle racing. Riding the 2025 Honda CBR1000RR-R SP, Young overcame a season filled with challenges to emerge victorious in the 2025 Bridgestone CSBK National Superbike Championship, becoming the first Honda rider to win the title since Jodi Christie in 2014. Thrilling Season Finale

The final round was a high-stakes showdown between Young, Alex Dumas, and Sam Guerin, with only six points separating the trio. A dramatic race one win by Guerin set the stage, but the championship was ultimately decided in race two, which was marred by a red flag incident and a restart that reshuffled the grid.Young held his nerve and delivered a masterful performance, claiming his second victory of the season and celebrating from the top step of the podium.

His triumph makes him only the third rider in CSBK history to win five Superbike titles, joining Jordan Szoke (14) and Steve Crevier (6).

"I'm so proud of the perseverance, work and fight the team showed throughout the season," Young said. "Huge thanks to Honda Canada for their support and the Van Dolder's Home Team, we didn't start the season as well as we'd hoped but we kept pushing and the results speak for themselves. A championship, Team of the Year and another number one plate, I couldn't be happier!"

"We started off with a world class platform in the Honda CBR1000RR-SP and through the course of the season the team worked with Ben to make the bike more and more competitive," said Willie Vass, Crew Chief Van Dolder's Home Team Honda and Owner of Vass Performance Cycle. 'This is truly a team victory, their effort was stellar, and the accolades we share with our fans are well deserved."
