2026 Grey County Budget

The 2026 budget is set, and Grey County will be maintaining service levels this year while also making some important investments that look to the future and the changing needs of our communities. The total operating and capital budget in 2026 is $301.9 million. This includes a combination of grants and funding, and $84 million in municipal levy. In addition to maintaining levels of service, additional projects and investments in the upcoming year include:

• Building two paramedic bases (Feversham and Dundalk)
• Advancing road transfer projects between Grey County and local municipalities
• Capital spending on infrastructure like roads and county-owned buildings
