Together on the Trail for Bruce Trail Day 

The Beaver Valley Bruce Trail Club is excited to host Bruce Trail Day activities in the village of Kimberley on Sunday, October 4, 2026. Come visit our tent at Kimberley Hall from 10a.m. to 3p.m. for family-friendly activities, buttonmaking, guided hikes, self-guided hikes and information on the Bruce Trail. Eagle’s Summit and Epping Beaver Pond Guided Hikes Two guided hikes will be offered on Bruce Trail Day. Pre-registration for the hikes is encouraged but not necessary. 

At 10:45 a.m., hikers will discover one of BVBTC’s newest nature preserves– Eagle’s Summit. Explore the network of trails at Eagle’s Summit with our trained hike leaders and be treated to sweeping views of the Beaver Valley and soaring rock faces. 

At 1 p.m., our hike leaders will guide hikers through the Young Wetland property with its picturesque beaver pond and take in autumn views at the Epping John Muir Lookout.

Bruce Trail Day and The Bruce Trail Conservancy Bruce Trail Day is an annual celebration of the Bruce Trail hosted by the Bruce Trail Conservancy at each of its nine Bruce Trail Clubs. The Bruce Trail Conservancy is one of Ontario’s largest land trusts and the steward of Canada’s longest marked footpath. The Beaver Valley section of the Bruce Trail stretches from the Blue Mountains to Blantyre with over 120 km of trail and more than 2600 acres of land being conserved, restored and maintained by Beaver Valley Bruce Trail Club volunteers.
