The BIG Cheese - A Grilled Cheese Competition in The Blue Mountains
The Cheese Gallery is excited to present a new and delicious event in The Town of the Blue Mountains, highlighting the much loved, Grilled Cheese Sandwich.
Throughout April, 16 local restaurants and businesses will be competing for recognition of having the best Gourmet Grilled Cheese Sandwich and being awarded as “The Big Cheese”.

This is a new and exciting community event that will encourage residents and visitors to support local food businesses, enjoy grilled cheese sandwiches, and explore the area’s restaurants, cafes and gourmet food shops,” explains Casey Thomson, owner of The Cheese Gallery.
“Working with restaurant and business owners throughout the community, the competition was created to help strengthen sales and raise awareness for small businesses during the shoulder season period, while also offering a truly delicious experience for local residents and visitors”.
Ballots will be cast by customers to rank each location's sandwich, and “The Big Cheese” winner will be named at the end of April.
